About the event

Calling all intentional communities! What is your vision for the communities movement in the coming years? What do we need to become as our global crises deepen? We have an incredible opportunity to become the pivots of change and the only way to get from here to there is by working together!

This interactive Q&A session is designed for anyone interested in learning more about specific benefits and opportunities to engage more deeply with other intentional communities across North America.

In addition to all the benefits, such as 50% off individual membership, we’re excited to build a community of communities where we can share best practices, create a representative council with working groups to consider how to offer support and mediation, travel and exchange programs, bioregional gatherings and much more! Member communities will also receive a complementary delegate ticket for one representative to attend the Convergence of Communities at Twin Oaks in early September.

Whether you are a member of an existing or forming community, please come with your curiosity and questions. We look forward to seeing you there and unlocking the full potential of community membership!

In this session we will:

  • Outline specific benefits and costs to existing and forming communities
  • Describe what it means to be a community representative
  • Explore anticipated opportunities to engage with other communities
  • Share goals for the first Community Member meeting on July 26
  • Detail the format of the September 2-4 Convergence of Communities at Twin Oaks
  • Answer your questions!
