Communities thrive best when members are very aligned in their values. In this webinar, we’ll discuss how to achieve value alignment and what to do when we discover we are misaligned.

About the event

It’s easy to say we want to live in a community of like-minded people. Getting there is harder. True alignment is entangled with the reality that we are all individuals and there will always be differences between us.

In this webinar, we’ll talk about how much alignment we need to live well together, and how to get there. From clear complex conversations to rigorous membership processes, we’ll discuss strategies for finding, building and maintaining alignment, and for knowing when you don’t have it.

In this session, you’ll learn about:

  • How to choose and name your community values
  • Membership practices that support values alignment
  • Some common practices that don’t work
  • How to determine whether your community values are still your community values
