Want to understand ethical frameworks to create intentional communities? Don’t miss this special interview.
Join FIC Co-Director, Cynthia Tina, for an hour-long conversation with Cassandra to glean her wisdom from decades of experience. We’ll hear about the community where Cassandra lives in California and about her work as an FIC Board Member, community consultant, and real estate agent for community projects. We’ll make space for audience Q&A, so come with your questions about forming a community.
Cassandra has pioneered the field of cooperative real estate to serve those seeking to share land and create community. She has years of grounded exposure to what it takes to establish community in rural, suburban and urban settings. Cassandra has lived in intentional community since 2006 and in 2016, co-founded Landwell, an emerging intentional community near Sebastopol, CA. In 2010, Cassandra partnered with Green Key Real Estate to bring the values of stewardship, reverence, and cooperation into the practice of real estate. A founding board member of CommonSpace Community Land Trust, Cassandra works on inspiring community and land related projects as a consultant and guide. She is also a Board Member of the Foundation for Intentional Community (FIC). Learn more at cassandraferrera.net
Nothing pre-recorded here! When you sign-up for an event with FIC, you’ll have the opportunity to join a live session on Zoom with the event presenter/facilitator and other participants.
All our events are run on a sliding scale basis. Generous donations cover the costs for low-income attendees. FIC is committed to making our programs accessible to people of all walks of life.
You’ll receive the recording of your event to view for up to one month (unless otherwise noted). So don’t worry if you can’t attend a live session. Watch or listen whenever it is convenient for you.
What a beautiful gift to our intentional community builders and leaders! FIC’s programs provide a way for thinking and concerned people to collaborate for solutions to our multitude of global crises. Thank you FIC! – Terri Garcia
I am constantly impressed by the down-to-earth practicality of the FIC workshops combined with the philosophical questions that are so vital for us to explore. I’m grateful for the excellent planning and delivery of the workshops by skilled and inclusive presenters, who create a space that is both welcoming and invites participants to challenge existing ideas and world views. Well done and thank you FIC. – Claire Ogden
