About this Workshop

Sociocracy is a governance system that supports healthy group processes. Sociocracy has a strong focus on equality and effectiveness and is used worldwide in a variety of organizations, particularly in intentional communities.

In this workshop, we will provide an overview of the basic concepts of sociocracy: how we make decisions, how we empower and connect teams and we can improve continuously over time. We will do small-group exercises and demonstrations so everyone can experience the clarity, consideration, and flow that sociocracy brings. Also examples and stories from communities!

During the workshop you will learn:
  • Ideas of how to clarity of who decides what in a community so decisions are easy
  • Ways to decide together with everyone included
  • Productive meetings that practice egalitarian culture with heart
