We offer just the level of hand-holding you want. By working with a coach, you can benefit from the experience and feedback of someone who has seen dozens of implementations and governance changes. We never forget that you’re the expert on your organization and culture, and you remain in the driving seat at all times. What does a consultant or coach do for you? Your consultant identifies with you what stage of implementation you’re on. Implementations follow a series of steps, and understanding what’s next for you might even be all you need. The consultant also assesses with you what kind of support might be useful to make your next steps effective and successful. Services that are typically part of an implementation: assessing training needs forming, coaching, and strategizing with the implementation circle/transformation team observing and facilitating meetings 1:1. or small-group conversations with stakeholders (the board, leadership, or people with concerns) and open Q&A sessions (e.g. for the whole membership or staff) Holding and facilitating “kick-off” events – we help you set up the first circles and the General Circle. This can be, for example, a two-day event with deeper training, formal adoption, and “flipping the switch” into your new governance system. I’m excited to be looking for Intentional Christ- based Community. I’d love to share my home with other family in Christ, and possibly share a weekly bible study and/or perhaps evening meals together. I’d enjoy coming up with creative ways to share the gospel and serve others in the local community together if you’re inclined and we each have the time. My 18 year old is out of the house now, but I haven’t yet taken new photos, so although his posters are in these pictures, his things have now been removed from the room with the exception of his bed, which can be switched out for yours if necessary. I’m open to drafting mutually agreeable rules, boundaries, and ways of handling any possible conflicts that may come up so they can be settled in a loving and respectful way as they arise. Some non-negotiable ground rules I have are no smoking, vaping, drinking, or drugs, including Marijuana. I prefer only godly programming and Christ-centered music, as I am very intentional about my spiritual environment. To test the waters, I’d be up for praying over the decision, a bible study over zoom, as well as an in person meal once or twice to get to know each other, with of course a tour of the house. Coming together to share how we feel led to proceed after that seems reasonable. I have a very large smart TV, internet, washer & dryer, large fenced yard with a fire pit, and a shed for storing outdoor items. I am open to drafting a lease for either 6 months or a year. To Begin… In the past handful of years I have been called to prioritize tending to the health of my relationship with myself and all I come into contact with. This calling is what brings me, over and over, to intentional community. When it first started knocking on my door, my daughter was just beginning high school and the time was not ripe for physically exploring intentional communities until she graduated a year ago. Since then, I have participated in a seasonal permaculture internship at an ecovillage in Oregon and traveled the U.S. with my girlfriend in her retrofitted camper van to get a sense for different bioregions and established communities in the U.S. Now I am writing to you, my friend, in hopes of finding a well-aligned community where I can grow roots, mutually beneficial relationships, and myself as I live life to the fullest. A Bit About Me and My Offerings I see myself as a creative problem-solver, initiator, and someone who naturally holds the whole and integrates the parts. Collaboration, resourcefulness, curiosity, openness, and compassion are all very important to me. And so is a balanced lifestyle. I also see myself as a culinary artist and am interested in growing wholesome food, preparing it with love for the nourishment of all, and preserving it for the future. Additionally, I would love to offer reiki to those with aches and pains, training in sociocracy to those interested in learning about this governance model based on consent decision-making and circular hierarchy (or hierarchy of levels of specificity), and care of elders or youngers where there is mutuality around needs. And lastly, I’d love to further my experience in: seed saving, bee keeping, animal husbandry, natural building, and all that goes into the tending of intimate, authentic, and loving relationships in a residential community setting.
