What we do

We are forming a sustainable co-ownership community set on 5.3 hectares along the pristine Rio Paiva in the Viseu district of northern Portugal, about 1 hour 45 minutes from Porto. Built around the restoration of six historic stone ruins, the project brings together a small group of like-minded co-owners who value evidence-based land stewardship, personal autonomy, and low-pressure social connection — people who want to live well alongside others.  Residents will share infrastructure, tools, and responsibility for the land — a beautiful landscape of mixed forest, productive terraces, olive trees, and a private river beach — while each maintaining their own private home

Our Vision

We aim to create a community that balances private and shared spaces, allowing for both solitude and collaboration. Our long-term vision includes:

Restoring the 6 stone ruins into a combination of private homes and shared spaces
Developing sustainable systems for food production, energy, and water management
Creating spaces for creative pursuits, such as art studios, music rooms, or workshops
Establishing a supportive community that values sustainable living and mutual support
