Washington Commons is an urban cohousing community focused on a sustainable future. Mahlum Architect Firm and MFA Architecture designed a beautiful four-story, 35-unit complex uniquely suited to our urban-infill site in West Sacramento, dubbed by The Sacramento Bee as “the region’s coolest city.”
Part of a quiet, historic neighborhood in a walkable, bikeable setting two blocks from the Sacramento River and its miles of paths. A short walk across the Tower Bridge from California’s state Capitol, we are in the heart of the Central Valley and the fresh local abundance produced there making it America’s Farm-to-Fork Capital.
We are an intergenerational community creating a collaborative culture where diversity is welcome, connection is prized, and belonging is satisfied.
With construction nearly finished, and a March, 2024 move-in, this debut cohousing community in West Sacramento welcomes new Members. If you are curious to try co-creating a better future in a collaborative community, where lifestyle is valued over ‘stuff’, let’s talk. Our community won’t be complete without you.
