Join renegade economist Della Duncan for an introductory workshop on Regenerative Economics for your intentional community and beyond.
About the event
Regenerative Economics moves us from extractive and exploitative ways of living, working, and meeting our needs to ways that are more just, equitable, and healthy for both people and the planet.
During the Regenerative Economics for Intentional Communities and Beyond workshop, we’ll explore Regenerative Economics through quotes, poems, practices and real-world case studies. We’ll look at the stories and beliefs behind the numbers, challenge mainstream economic assumptions and integrate insights and inspirations from living alternatives in our lives, communities and livelihood journeys.
During this workshop you will:
- Identify perceptions about work and economics that are not delivering you, others, and/or the planet well being and health
- Develop a vision for your vocation, potentially incorporating multiple roles and activities, to demonstrate how you can contribute effectively to the challenges of our time
- Identify regenerative and cooperative economic theories, tools, and business models
