About the Community

What we do

We are a youthful and festive forming community, following a “cohousing light” model. Construction is underway, and we are actively forming our membership. We will build 18 homes (detached and duplexes) and a common house in a bikeable location in beautiful Courtenay, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. First move-in’s intended for late 2026. Seeking neighbours who are enthusiastic about community, and lead creative and/or purpose-driven lives.

We are invested in creating a neighbourhood that celebrates these values, and our creativity, diverse skills, generosity, and desire for a more sustainable and place-based lifestyle. How to join

Expression of interest made. Invitation to participate in community meetings and working groups. 3 Tiered Membership Structure, including member application and interview.
