Community Bookstore Feature
Free Downloadable Resources
at the FIC Bookstore
by Kim Kanney, Community Bookstore Manager

Free Downloadables Our primary aim at the FIC Bookstore is to get essential information about community and cooperation to you, our readers. Sales help us keep the bookstore going, but we want our resources to be accessible too.

Have you noticed we added a section to our online bookstore with free, downloadable resources on subjects we collectively care about? With the partnership of many organizations we work with and respect, we are able to share toolkits, collaborative actions, working guides, and workshop guidelines on topics like climate change, sustainability and economics.

For instance,

Toolbox for Education and Social Action (TESA) offers a guide for leading groups in understanding the cause and effect of climate change.

And the People’s Creative Toolkit (offered by Arts & Democracy) is a guide for activists and artists to create effective, visual strategies for delivering a powerful message to a correct target audience.

Check out the Free Resources category for the full list. And we will continue to add more!

Just add to your cart, pay nothing, and immediately receive a link to download the PDF! You can order free items while also ordering paid items.

If you know of a resource you think we should add, contact Kim at bookstore@ic.org.
